Privacy Policy

The short version: We collect only what we need to find your matches and send what you ask for. We never sell your information. Stripe handles payments, so we never see or store your card number. Email us anytime to see or delete your information.
1. Who we are
VNE LLC ("we," "us") runs Open Purse and Sectional. This policy explains what information we collect through velocityne.com, openpurse.velocityne.com and related emails, and how we use it.
2. What we collect
- What you type into a search: organization name, state, industry, number of employees, any certifications you tick, and (if you choose) a ZIP code or a competitor's name.
- Contact details you choose to give: name, email, phone and any note, for example when you ask for your list, sign up for alerts, start a trial or request a call.
- How you use the results: for example, which matches you scored, asked to draft or searched partners for. We use this to improve suggestions and follow up on requests you make.
- Payment details: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive your email, plan status and a customer reference, never your full card number.
- Technical data: basic request information such as a one-way scrambled version of your IP address (to prevent abuse), plus a small sign-in key saved in your own browser so you stay signed in.
3. How we use it
- To run your searches and show your results.
- To send the lists, alerts and replies you ask for. You can stop alerts anytime by replying "STOP."
- To manage your plan and billing.
- To respond when you request a call or other help.
- To keep the Service secure and improve it.
4. AI processing
To rank matches and write scorecards and drafts, we send your search details and the related public listings to an AI model provider through our hosting platform. That information is used to produce your results, not to train public AI models, based on our providers' published policies.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Open Purse, under their own privacy and security terms: Netlify (website hosting and AI access), Supabase (database), Stripe (payments) and Google Workspace (email). We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights and users.
6. How long we keep it
We keep search and contact information while it's useful for the Service, and for paid members while the plan is active plus a reasonable period afterward for records and billing. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
7. Your choices and rights
Email darin@velocityne.com to see, correct or delete your information, to stop emails, or to cancel your plan. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We'll honor those requests as the law requires.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted database access and reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. Children
Open Purse and Sectional are for businesses and organizations and are not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. If a change is significant, we'll post it here and email paid members.
